BIOGRAPHY
ALICIA SIEGLER
Alicia, an award winning, water media artist, has been recognized for her moving portrayals of the American West. In her representational and abstract renditions of the western landscape, of the human figure and of western wildlife, her passion for her subject is evident. Her use of bold colors, impeccable composition and “out of the box” creativity have earned her placement in many private collections.
Born in Chicago, IL, her family moved to Colorado when she was in grade school. Every summer was spent climbing, camping and riding. In winter she competed on the Junior National Ski circuit. The Rocky Mountains were her playground .
Alicia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Colorado. She has been the featured artist in Grand Teton National Park, and is recognized by Paint America as one of their Top 100 Artists. Her work hangs in the City of San Mateo, CA Jockey’s Club, and can be seen in Desert Art Center in Palm Springs, CA.
